Count It All Joy

@Melissa: I am so sorry for all your trials. My poor mother-in-law must get regular eyelid injections to keep them from drooping shut. I sent her once to a surgical specialist but she elected not to go that route. I am told there is some Jewish prayer to be said after we complete our bodily functions. This sounds silly but when one lives around people with kidney failure or other impairments one realizes what a miracle every mundane thing is; to sleep, to waken refreshed; to have appetite; to feel satiety, to taste and sense fragrance, to hear and see, to have clarity of memory and the curiosity to keep learning new things and to try and see things from different perspectives. James said something about “I count it all joy” but sometimes this simplest mathematical task can be illusive.
